What Should I Expect When I Visit?

The word church can conjure up so many images in our mind from old cold buildings, out of date music, weird language and long boring talks. We want to make sure that when you visit us that you will find something that helps you to make better sense of life through:

  • A friendly welcome
  • Down to earth messages
  • Great music
  • A safe place for your children to make new friends and have fun!

Our vision is a simple, yet powerful one; to help those with broken lives to find healing and those with successful lives to find significance.

Visit soon and find out more about living a life with purpose. How do I get therewhat should I wearwhat’s available for my kids... what sort of music will I hear

What Should I Wear?
Don't worry we don't have Trinny and Susannah on team who tell you 'what not to wear'. We want you to feel comfortable and to be yourself, so our message is a simple one... wear whatever you feel comfortable in.

The Bible is clear that God looks on the inside, not on the outside, that's what matters most.

What Sort Of Music Will I Hear?
It depends which service you come to... at our 9:30am service we use an organ and sing many traditional hymns.

At our 11:00am and 6:30pm services we use a band, yes guitars, drums, keyboards etc... we also use state of the art audio and video equipment - it looks and sounds great, you'll hear the kind of music you would hear anywhere else, but the lyrics will be about God and what He has done for us!

What’s Available For My Kids?
A comprehensive kids programme, staffed by caring teams, and we take the issues of safety and security seriously, all our team members go through rigorous security checks before they are allowed on our teams.

Your kids will have fun filled learning and a chance to make some new friends.

'So what can you expect from St Luke’s? Well our experience was a welcome that was as warm as you can imagine and a second family that embraces you as their own'

'We visited St Luke’s one Sunday, just as a trial to see how we felt about the church – well, the rest is history, we were made to feel very welcome and it felt like we had joined a new family almost immediately'
