How
Do I Commit To Jesus
?
Recognise
that the Sin in your life will separate you from God eternally.
Understand that Jesus has already paid for your sin in His death upon
the Cross.
Turn form the life of sin you have lived up to this point.
Invite Jesus to become the Lord of your life for the rest of your life.
Trust in Jesus for the forgiveness he bought on your behalf.
Receive the free gift of eternal life.
If trusting Christ for eternal life is
something you would like to do right now, here is a simple prayer you
could pray:
Father God
Thank you for creating me
You know me intimately and know who I really am
There are things I have thought, said and done which I know were wrong
I want to put those things right, but I can't do that on my own.
Jesus Christ thank you for living a life that shows me you have faced
the worst things imaginable
And yet you continued to love and showed how to walk a blameless life,
even to the cross
Thank you for taking the cross for me
I receive your free gift of forgiveness through the cross
Thank you that you rose again
And that same power can work in me
Fill me with you Holy Spirit so that I can walk with you every day
I give you all that I have, all that I am and all that I'll be
