Speak Up – a week of climate action 8-16 October

Proverbs 31:9 “Speak up and judge fairly, defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

The Climate Coalition and its partners including Christian Aid and Tearfund, are encouraging all of us to take part in the Speak Up Week of Action. Climate change is the single biggest threat to the people and places we love, both here in the UK and overseas.

Speak Up events will be taking place across the UK from 8-16 October. Communities will come together to Speak Up for the love of the people, places and cherished things affected by climate change and invite their MPs.

The aim of these events is to enable politicians to see, feel and hear how much their constituents care about what we could lose. Please support an event near you if you possibly can!
